Mid-LIFE
February 22-25, 2007

San Francisco, California

Hello friends of Marianist LIFE,

I hope this finds you and your communities happy and healthy! This is a friendly reminder regarding Mid-LIFE 2007. We will be gathering near San Francisco at Mercy Center (www.mercy-center.org) in Burlingame, CA. Our keynote speaker will be scholar, teacher, and film producer, Fr. Daniel G. Groody (see his brief bio at at the bottom of this email). Marianist LIFE moderator Marlena Johnston from Archbishop Riordan High School will also present on how we can incorporate social justice, the pastoral circle, and immigration into our schools, parishes, and Marianist LIFE Communities. For the first time we are offering an optional "Day of Reflection & Retreat" on Friday.

Thanks to the generosity of the Marianist Province, the costs for the weekend program are as follows:

$150.00 February 22-25, 2007 (3 nights - includes optional Retreat Day on Friday, Feb. 23)

$100.00 February 23-25, 2007 (2 nights - Friday evening arrival - does not include Retreat Day)

$50.00 February 23-25, 2007 (Commuter Fee - does not include lodging)

All prices include food and lodging (single room), program costs, and transportation to and from the aiport. The most convenient airport to fly in and out of is San Francisco International (the retreat center is only ten minutes away). More detailed information will follow in the next couple of weeks in our online newsletter, THE FULCRUM. But know it's not too early to clear that weekend in your calendar for some personal and professional in-service, development, and relaxation. It's a perfect weekend for current and former moderators and Coordinating Team members, or for people who want to know more about or wish to get involved with Marianist LIFE. All Are Welcome!

The dates for our Summer 2007 Programs are available on our website. For more information, click http://www.marianist.com/ministries.php?pid=123. Registration materials for the 2007 summer LIFE programs will be available online in December.

Please continue to let us know how we can be of support and assistance to you and your Marianist LIFE Communities. Thank you for all that you do with and for our young people and Marianist LIFE!

Peace to you and your communities,
Brian
