Environmental Symposium – Saturday,
June 16th
(Come for the day or spend the weekend!)
We
will be hosting a special symposium on the environment entitled ‘Where
on Earth are we going’ Saturday, June 16, 2007 from 9:30 AM - 3:00
PM. It will be an interactive non-political presentation of the changes
and challenges in our ecology and the environment. It will consist of
presentations, group sharing, videos along with time to reflect and grasp
the importance and ways to care for the resources of the earth.
If you would like to come only for the day on Saturday the cost is $20, which includes a continental breakfast and lunch.
There is the option to come for the entire weekend at a reduced rate of $80 per person, which will include the Symposium – our apologies, we can only accommodate those at least high school age for this weekend.
Once the symposium ends, for those interested, we will be heading over “the circle” to join in the Cape May Point Picnic. This is an annual event sponsored by the town and includes live music. We will be providing a ‘picnic dinner’ for those staying the weekend. Otherwise late afternoon and evening will be free.
On Sunday we will have a pick-up breakfast, early Eucharist, clean-up and then you are free for the day.
